Training & Development
Markaz believes that continual improvement is key to empowering its employees and equipping them with the skills necessary to handle new challenges in a constantly changing market.
Training and development programs are determined for individual employees based on the nature of the role, growth potential, and employment tenure, as well as other important aspects related to the prevailing market trends and requirements. The programs are implemented after a thorough Training Needs Analysis Process jointly carried out by the respective department heads and HR, ensuring that the employees are provided with opportunities to improve unleash their full potential. These are imparted through various modes including self-study, in-house training, local and international courses, eLearning, on-the-job training, and professional certification programs. Training and development is also an integral part of the Annual Performance Appraisal system.

Internship
Markaz is committed to strengthening Kuwait’s talent pool with job-ready professionals equipped with the latest competencies.
Markaz is keen to welcome young graduates to join us as interns. Our internship program will provide first-hand experience in the investment sector, enabling them to work with a mentor and learn from our highly professional environment and preparing them for successful future careers. Internship opportunities are open to graduates of all disciplines and nationalities. Outstanding performers are offered full-time positions in Markaz upon completion of their internships.
Markaz Graduate Development Program
The Markaz Graduate Development Program (MGDP) is prominent among Markaz’s endeavors to nurture the next generation of leaders in the financial services industry. MGDP, which has been running for four consecutive years and regularly begins in February every year, allows fresh Kuwaiti graduates to gain work experience and hone skills through a one-year hands-on training program. The trainees are rotated through all departments at Markaz to provide them an overview of various aspects of its operations and then allocated to a department for an extended placement. Throughout the program, graduates receive a mix of direct and online training, alongside practical activities and at the end of the program, each trainee receives a recommendation letter, in support of their future career and job applications.
